A new centre for cyber security has been opened near Milton Keynes.
The centre is being developed and operated by FCO Services, a self-funding agency of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), which delivers a range of high security projects and services to the FCO and other parts of government.
The centre was opened by His Royal Highness, The Duke of York, who is the UK’s Special Representative for International Trade and Investment.
His visit enabled him to understand how the facility contributes to the government’s new National Security Strategy and its Foreign Policy Objectives of safeguarding Britain’s national security.
The centre is being developed in close collaboration with the security policy arm of the FCO and with Her Majesty’s Government Communications Centre.
